"I didn't call you..." He echoed before grinning. "I guess I really am just that happy to see you," he said honestly. "Trust me, I'm with you all the way about how illogical this all is. I nearly had a break down the first time I found out it was real." Booth paused and tilted his head, squinting slightly. "I was also smashed on tequila which didn't help..."
Oh she would hop on that little piece of information. "Yes, Bones, I did research. From books with big words and some of them even had Latin." Of which even his alter boy training from childhood couldn't help him decipher, resulting in a big modern book. He held up his hand, thumb and finger barely an inch apart. "Came this close to be squintized." And he had a notebook full of information to show for his troubles.
The good news was that she had come from 2008. The bad news...well, besides now being stuck in 2005 LA with him was pretty much that now people were really going to begin to wonder where they'd gone. Caroline would probably begin feeling puckish again and elopement rumors would show up next.
"So you disappeared before me which I would have noticed yet I disappeared before you which you should have noticed," he stated, frowning deeply. "Now that's illogical. Yeah, a few months. Enough to make some allies, friends, I guess." Vampire hunting friends. His expression softened as he became serious. "With all the information I just tossed at you, you're not doing a half bad job, Bones."
