She should've known that he'd see it. Because he knew her perhaps better than anyone else did. He knew her better than Jake did nearly. But then again, Jake knew her so well because they'd known each other for so long.
As he looked down, her fingers reached up to brush over his cheek. Her Edward. She couldn't stop thinking of him like that, that he was hers and she was his. That she always would be. She bit down on her lip and dropped her hand away.
At that look, the look in his eyes, her heartbeat picked up considerably. Her hands clenched against her shirt.
"Edward.." It was soft, almost broken in the sound of it. She lifted her arms and instantly, they went around him and she buried her face in against his shirt. "Edward...oh God...I love you." She whispered, her hands tightened on him, and if he'd been human, it might have hurt. But instead, how hard she was holding onto him was hurting her but that didn't matter. Because he was here, he was solid, and real.
