Okay, they were done with the Joker. She got that message easily. The look on his face told her all she needed to know about the buttons pushed with that topic and she didn't want to sit around and watch him brood about it while they tried to enjoy pizza.
When he asked about Lex she grinned. "I hacked into his video cameras that he's got around his mansion. It was pretty simple. I can do stuff here that I could never do at home because the tech's so far behind. I mean, getting into Lex's stuff is like getting into the Kobra's files back home. I'd never be able to do it. But here? It's easy. It almost doesn't feel like work." And that was probably why she did it with such abandon, and often times very little thought to the possible consequences. Everything just seemed easier here.
"I won't tell a soul. Believe me, I want to see him to. So long as he's not having me arrested again." Max rolled her eyes, as she did every time she thought about the time that had happened. She'd been less than impressed with Terry's boss then. "Diana hasn't been able to find him. He was here once maybe a month ago... but he disappeared again. People do that a lot here."
