Terry frowned at her, Max knew about his record better than anyone. He didn't want to get mixed back up in that again. "Max.." His voice both warning and waning. She was convincing him. Without her skills he would be probably camping out in the bat-plane. Comfortable as it was he doubted it would do very well for sleeping in. He was caving and he gave a crest fallen sigh. "Alright alright. BUT. If we ever have the money legally, we're going to replace it, right?" A questioning brow raised.
He still wasn't thrilled on the idea of her "borrowing" and probably wouldn't spend much if anything-if he could avoid it. The last thing he needed was to mess up in this century too. Still he eyed her until rolling them and deciding not to deal with it anymore. Not to think about it at least anyway. "Hey, I read....the cover. And the title page. I could tell you who the publisher was. Because they were involved in a robbery this one time.." Terry said that last part in one breath and made a face at her and grinned. He remembered all those study sessions in the bat-plane on patrol because he never really had time to actually open a book between being normal teenager and batman.
He listened to her and stuck his hands lazily in his jacket. "You always did want to be inside on the action I guess." He smirked.
Then she mentioned the Joker from their time and the mood almost instantly went down hill, his eyes fell to his feet in thought. "Hes already gotten to somebody Max. Some girl named Rogue. I need to stop him. Ours or not." And then he paused as he remembered time lines and how much he'd been thinking about them lately. He couldn't not tell her what he was planning-or thinking of planning anyway. "Max...dad is still alive here.." And brought up hesitantly. He'd been thinking on it a long time, and he knew he shouldn't mess with the future, but if he could just see his father even once he'd -well he didn't know what he'd do, but he knew it would ease some of the pain that was left by his murder.
