Logan raised a brow and smiled slightly. "Just might take advantage of that when I'm feeling like I've lost too much control. Or need a friend."
Tilting his head he looked over at her. "Seems like you need one of those sometimes even more than I do." His hand squeezed her gently back. Her skin was a bit colder than his and he smiled. "Take it the cold don't effect ya too much hmm?"
The scent caught him again when a breeze blew by and he turned left. But there was something else in the air, smelled like wet dog. He could hear drool dripping from a snarling mouth in one of the allies up ahead and the sound of a bone crack. Logan growled, the animal side of him had its hackles up.
"Think we got company up ahead." His first instinct was to put her behind him, but he was certain that'd only get him a boot in the ass.
