Selene thought he was very wrong about his assessment of her. She well and truly believes there is nothing left in this world for her. How could she have humanity to cling to when she thirsted for human blood? When she had killed for no other reason then because someone knew more then they should?
"One moment." She held up a finger to him and slipped back inside the bar through the hole in the wall.
For several minutes all that could be heard was the crashing and shuffling of objects inside. On occasion a curse word would slip from her lips, though they were muttered in near silence. "There we have it!" She exclaimed triumphantly.
