He was very quiet as he tried to slip out. Not near quiet enough. Selene heard one soft creak on the old floor and made her way to the stairs. Before he could get any further then a few steps out the door she was right behind him, dressed just as she had been the other night. Her 'day' clothes had been left behind for the attire of a seasoned hunter.
"Better fit?" She asked with a smug grin as she fell in line with him. The tension that she found overwhelming the other night seemed to have dissipated to some extent. Hopefully he would be in better spirits because she had something rather serious to talk to him about.
First, she would see how he reacted to her intrusion. Then she would ask if they could talk.
