She was already shaking his hand when she heard him say his name. Clark Kent. Her eyes widened a bit, and the smile started to fade, though she didn't mean for it to. This certainly explained that strange feeling she'd just gotten.
He certainly didn't look like her Clark, but so far, he at least seemed like him a bit in personality. He acted more like her Clark. And perhaps that odd little feeling had begun to overwhelm her because she could now distinctly remember the other, younger Clark telling her that this one was actually Superman. She, of course, had been enchanted her Superman long before she'd ever realized she had feelings for the dorky reporter on the surface.
Finally, she cleared her throat, realizing that in nearly a minute, she hadn't spoken, and she was still shaking his hand. Slowly, she drew her hand back, and forced a smile again.
"So... you're the other Clark I keep hearing about. It's um... nice to meet you." She found herself realizing that she meant it. "And um... Yes, I really am Lois Lane, and no, I don't have a cousin named Chloe that looks just like me." She laughed again, a bit nervously.
