He instantly dropped down and started reaching for her purse and folder. "I'm okay!" He said, voice coming from below her as he gathered the items up into his arms. "That's been a big thing lately. With me. Knocking people over." He straightened up and offered her a sheepish smile. Purse in hand, he held it out for her to take, then did the same with the folder. "Here, you...well, you sort of dropped these," he told her, reaching up to push his glasses up the bridge of his nose as soon as his arms were free.
She looked all right. Another lucky encounter, if Clark could say so himself. "Again, I'm really sorry about that." He awkwardly looked down at her for a moment. Then, suddenly, his brows began to rise upward. "Are you...new? Here, that is. Because I've been here for a few weeks and I think this is the first that I've ever seen you before." He was sure that he'd remember having seen her. Clark was pretty good with faces.
