Once they were all close enough to guarantee that they'd travel there together, Willow released the hold she'd been keeping over her magic. Reaching out through the tendrils she'd been passing along to Dawn, she let them find the part of the girl that was still composed of the Key - faintly surprised to find that it seemed... larger, than it should be - and let the tendrils wrap around it.
Sensing Davy watching her, the witch re-opened her eyes and peered at him. Gone was the perky demeanor she'd exhibited thus far, and in its place was a stoic expression attached to a woman whose red hair was slowly bleeding to black and whose green eyes were doing the same. One eyebrow rose slightly and her lip quirked back in an almost eerie partial-smirk. Then she re-closed her eyes and concentrated on Dawn, and the power lying within the girl just begging to be used.
Their scenery flickered, then began to fade as a wind picked up within the library and swept across them. A light began to glow around them, brighter and larger, until it finally encompassed the trio wholly. Enveloped them until they could no longer be seen.
There was a slight jolt and the light disappeared. When Willow opened her eyes again, the library - the entire Hyperion - was gone. They were now in a place unlike anything she'd ever seen before.
"Well," she murmured as she slowly released Dawn and glanced to Davy to make certain he'd arrived intact as well. "Looks like we made it. Wherever 'it' might be..."
