Willow stuck her tongue out at Dawn - not the most mature of responses but definitely a worthy reply, she thought - before half-turning in her seat to watch Davy. Easily catching the book, she glanced curiously down at it and her eyes grew wide.
"OH!" she exclaimed, bouncing a bit in her chair. Setting aside the book he'd offered, she searched quickly through her pile before she found another one. "I-It's the missing volume! Jenny had this one," she held up the one that she'd brought, "and two others, though they're pretty musty and not really all that helpful, and then there was one that was missing!" She patted the tome Davy had tossed her way before turning her excited green-eyed gaze to Dawn.
"There's a certain passage, written in Romany, in the one book that references some sort of story that's written in the other. Page 435. It talks about the Orb of Thesulah, and how they spread them to the furthest reaches of man to aid others who might wish to curse the vampires who were killing their young," she explained. Finding the passage, she quickly glanced over it then slid the book across the table toward Dawn. "You're a lot better with the whole reading foreign languages and figuring out what they mean the first time around than I am, anymore. Wanna give it a go? Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll mention where these furthest reaches of man happen to be."
Meanwhile, Willow pulled out another book from her stack and glanced to Davy. "There's a pretty good chance that Wolfram & Hart have all of the Orbs of Thesulah that we can find here," she explained. "And while I could probably get in there and get one, I can't risk them having done some kind of wacky mojo that would make the Orb backfire or not work or something equally bad. Now, this book talks about a dimension where things go that are lost. I don't know if what we're looking for is going to be there..." She held her hand over the book and it opened, immediately turning to the page that she was talking about. Handing it out to Davy to take, she smiled, "But if we can't find any mention of a specific place where we can find one, this is probably where we'll start looking first."
