Ever since the disappearance of Luke, See-Threepio had been spending his days with Artoo at Anakin Skywalker's residence. Oh, it was a very strange situation for Threepio. Very strange indeed. He'd had all of his memories restored thanks to the Maker. And, although he was somewhat relieved, because he had many holes in his memory, it had confused him even more than normal.
The Maker. His Maker. Had become Darth Vader! Oh heavens. It was almost too much for a droid to handle.
But today he was on his way to the Hyperion to drop off a message to Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. Well, not exactly a message. He wanted to express his apologies for not remembering him after his mind was wiped. It seemed the polite thing to do.
Of course, his attention was halted momentarily by the rather frightful looking fellow and the young girl.
"Oh! My dear sir! You look as though you are in the most awful need of assistance. An oil bath could do you loads of good. Or-- silly me. You must be looking for Master Obi-Wan as well. He did mention something about working at a facility for ... individuals such as yourself. Is he not here? I do believe I have the coordinates of the establishment. Some kind of shelter, I believe. Riverside, was it? Oh, Artoo would know. He keeps all of those little details programmed into his system. Shall I check inside? I can send him down to you. But I am rather certain that it was Riverside. Yes, yes. The Riverside Shelter. Run by strange women in dark clothing. Though I'll never understand that reasoning in this weather."
Threepio paused for a moment to look over at the girl. He recognized her from his stay at the Hyperion.
"A pleasure to see you again, Miss. Oh dear! I must hurry or I'll be late. Artoo wanted me to bring home a new circuit board for one of Master Anakin's projects. Although I don't know why he can't do that himself!"
And just as quickly as he arrived, Threepio hurried off into the hotel.
