Annie smiled a bit, although not from any real comprehension of what they were talking about but rather out of some desire to actually act the way Sister would want her to act if she was meeting strangers who might be in need of some help. Friendly or not, though, she knew that one of the men wasn't who he was pretending to be. She didn't sense anything bad from him, though. He just wasn't... right.
One of the streetlights nearby surged to life as she studied the holographic man for a moment. Her brow was once again furrowed as she tried to make sense of what he was saying. Unable to pick up on the innuendos, Annie simply focused on the debate about his friend's name.
"Not 'ouglas," she corrected him. She glanced to the man in question. "Sam." And with that, she gave a matter of fact nod and the bulb in the streetlight abruptly exploded with a muffled pop from overhead.
