Mary Jane smiled at the words, her cheeks turning the slightest bit pink at the way Clark had reacted. She definitely didn't think of herself as a big star, and acting was a lot more hard work than it was glitz and glamour, but she still held out hope that she was going to make a living doing it, at the very least, and she really loved it.
"I hope so," she said with a light laugh. "But even if I just stay in the theatre, that would be okay, too. As long as it's something. I don't know what's going to happen here with it, but I just spent all afternoon checking out different places where I might be able to give it a shot."
Mary Jane nodded, smiling fondly. "That's him. I came here to make sure he was okay. I heard about the state this place was in and I was too worried to sit around."
