Seth had a wicked satisfaction to live in a Church, the cherished paragon of goodness Lilith had blindly followed in her times and the once enemy-now reluctant allies against the Rosencreutz Orden. The leash around her brother’s neck she wanted to sever so they could be once more. It was petty to be content in profaning this place specially since she had no spirituals inclinations, but she could be childish and enjoyed herself immensely in feeling her apparent age.
They needed to strip of anything sacred within the building first, Seth guessed, and replenished it with the mundane comfort of furniture. Oh, but she wasn’t going to have Selene do everything by herself. That would be rude for a guest and boring for the pixie-like young girl. Fresh paint, Seth smirked to her idea, green and one of multiple colors. She could paint a rainbow and butterflies in her quarters. She could trace the symbol of the Empire in those walls.
So she tracked Selene’s route of shopping. It wasn’t too difficult. Reading the recipient of former bills led her to the warehouse. She had brought Michael along to mask her single interest.
“There!” her voice piped triumphal after the loud beep. “See she’s shopping without a strong man to help her carry her bags.” She scolded, glancing up Michael in disapproval.
