Buffy had been leading the way inside the gate, fighting off any zombies that managed to make it into her path, while at the same time looking back over her shoulder at every opportunity. If she saw someone in trouble, she would help them, but it seemed that they were either handling themselves well, or getting help from each other. It was just as well, because Buffy didn't want to have to go back for anyone. Not that she wouldn't do it, but it certainly made everything easier when it all went as smoothly as possible. Well, considering.
Panting, Buffy stood in front of Death and watched the creature closely. This was all new to her, to all of them, and one sudden movement would send her flying at the thing to take it out. But for now, she watched and listened.
"Don't you know it's impolite to just plant a big, scary castle in the middle of a city? Talk about crashing a party." She rolled her eyes as Death continued, but her interest was piqued when he mentioned the Master. "You mean you don't own this place?"
