Buffy had listened to each member of the group, taking in their opinions and trying to formulate a workable plan inside her head. This wasn't exactly new, in spite of the actual zombies themselves, and she knew that at the very least, they'd be able to get a good look around the place before they had to retreat. But she wasn't planning on retreating. Whoever the owner of this castle was apparently thought of himself as a bigshot, and Buffy honestly couldn't wait to knock him down a few pegs.
"Alright, we'll spread out a bit, but not too far apart. Helping each other will be easier that way," she said, taking note of the way the zombies had suddenly seemed to jolt to life -- no pun intended -- and looked at them with empty gazes.
"They know we're here," she suddenly added, her muscles tightening as she gripped her crossbow harder in her hands. "But...they're not moving." She shook her head. "Come on. Slowly." And she began to creep forward into the open.
