And before Rose could even get a word in edge wise, she found herself sitting in a chair near the balcony, staring at the sleeping Doctor with her keycard in hand. She pocketed it and slipped off her jacket, draping it along the back of the chair and standing. Clearly, she couldn’t stay up all night thinking, though there was a lot to think about, but that’s what morning was for. Figuring things out and helping the Doctor be more of a people person.
Sitting on the edge of the bed, she slipped off her shoes one by one, and then lifted up the covers on the unoccupied side of the bed, before settling down. If this was a dream, she’d really kick herself in the morning. She shifted turning over to look at his peacefully sleeping form with a tiny smile. She wondered how he could fall asleep so fast. Or maybe he wasn’t asleep at all? She wasn’t sure, but it didn’t stop her from whispering anyway. "Night, Doctor. I...l...I love you." And with that the blonde turned her back to him and shut her eyes.
