Buffy was glad for the distraction, in all honesty. She knew why Spike was so adamant about his hatred towards Jared, knew that he felt as if the entire process of him getting his soul back and dying to save the world meant nothing in comparison to how easily the other vampire had seemed to gain a pulse, but Buffy wasn't about to tell anyone else that. Let them think it was just some silly vampires' quarrel. She would just have to talk to Spike later, make sure everything was alright, and maybe shine up his surely-bruised ego by that time.
As it was, she'd taken up Sarah's offer to watch a movie in a less-chaotic area of the hotel. She headed up to the other girl's room and waited, finding that it had only taken a few minutes for her to return.
"Oh, wow, this is perfect," Buffy gushed, helping Sarah place the tray down on the table. She glanced over towards the carrier she'd motioned to, eating a piece of popcorn at the same time. "No, not at all," she replied with a shake of her head.
