Pushing the sunglasses into his black hair so that they rested atop his head, Zuko moved to the window next to Mikaela, glancing at the demons that stood underneath the awning she pointed out. For some reason, perhaps out of boredom and a need to do something a little entertaining for once, Zuko flashed her a smile and reached for the edge of the window, hauling it upwards so that the cool wind now blew in.
"You might want to move back a bit," he told her and waited for her to do so.
Once she was out of the way, Zuko held out his arms and created a spark of fire extending from each hand, then swirled them around to create trails that flowed through the air like the tails of dragons. He was doing a firebending kata that his uncle had shown him during the first year of his banishment, moving through the steps as the fire trailed along with him, finally coming to a stop and bringing his hands to hover near his chest, curling his fingers inward to make the two fire trails combine. Holding his arms out to the side, he shaped the flames into a fire ball and drew his arms back before surging them forward.
The fire ball flew from his hands and hit the awning the demons were standing by. Zuko moved to press his back against the wall near the window, turning his head so that he could peer at them as they flailed about on the street below in confusion.
He chuckled lightly, momentarily forgetting Mikaela was there as he remarked, "And that was only a sample."
