Jack didn't seem to realize just how much power the guy had, but none the less he wanted to help him. He wanted to help as many people as he could, and so far this was the best way to do it. He was trained to be a hero, and that what they did. They were there to help people no matter the odds, and circumstance. He knew Chris wanted to be right up there with them otherwise he wouldn't have taken the ranger up on his training would he? He didn't know if he could help him control it in one session. But maybe over time he could do something for Chris.
He had to admit, the first time he saw Chris fall he thought that he was a gonner. That he was going to have a heart attack himself. He could practically hear his own heart racing in his ears until he realized Chris wasn't falling but flying and that was so cool.
"My good friend taught me that, she's probably the smartest person I've ever met. Makes the zords, runs half the command center..we'd fall apart if it wasn't for her. " He smirked and brushed some dreads behind his ear. "Lets not wait till he does to teach you how to use that strength the right way. Not that you weren't doing great before, helping that lady. But your aim could use some work." He teased and nudged him, referring to the nearly concrete death he had.
He looked up at Chris to return the grin, it was nice having someone close to his own age to talk to and hang out with. Bash vamps with, like having a partner again. Only less annoying than Sky. "I hope shes okay." He recognized the direction and his brows furrowed in thought before he stepped off the ledge beside Chris, and the transformation gave him his power boost.
"Hey, we can't all be Superman." He chuckled behind the helmet, and pulled it off for a minute to breathe the fresh air and look back at Chris with a calm smile. Waiting until he was ready to put it back on. "Lets see what you can do, in this..you don't have to hold back much. Just y'know, lets try not to break the hotel." He grinned before replacing the helmet. "SPD, red ranger." and the red lights on the side lit, he could feel the boost in power before the spar even began.
