She sort of liked the way he said that. Darlin'. Sounded a little southern though the rest of his drawl certainly was not. Possibly further north? Selene would gather the clues he gave her and figure him out on her own. Didn't seem the type to talk about himself much. That was fine by her. Gave her something to do after all, figure out who he was.
Selene always loved a good mystery.
"Never made much of a lady myself. Guns were more my fancy. Never took to tea and etiquette." Much to the dismay of Lady Amelia. It made Selene smile thinking about the look on Amelia's face if she saw her with that bottle of beer in hand.
Returning his careful gaze with one of her own she slowly let a grin crack the pale icy skin. "No priests. Just me." Not letting her eyes fall away she waved for the bartender to bring another round.
