"Ah ha. That may be my problem. I have never actually tried." She took a page from his book and winked at him. Then took a much smaller sip from the bottle. Now was not the time to try getting hammered.
Shaking her head she sighed. "I have yet to go down easy, last man standing and all." Selene lifted her bottle in triumph. There was a smile on her face, something she was doing more of these days, yet those words brought a certain sadness back to her eyes.
"Ruined your peace and serenity, did I?" A large caliber gun had that effect on even the most peaceful of places. "Perhaps a sword would have been less disruptive." Although she was being a terrible tease she understood the need to find some peace in such a chaotic world. She had all the serenity she needed within the walls of the church. The silence withint those walls was unnerving. Selene had wandered onto the church grounds for a different reason.
"That is true. However I wonder, if the man I work for does things that makes him less then likeable." She gave him a pointed look. As she saw it he and Lindsey did not see eye to eye. "Such as assisting with the kidnapping of a child, what does that say about me if I chose to consort with men of that caliber?" Her brows raised and she laughed. "I am sorry, I am so use to talking to my self, sometimes I come across...rather...pompus." She wasn't really. It was just the life she had led up to this point.
