Peter was quiet while the others spoke. He was milling over a few things as they did, and getting a sense of unease from Maya in regards to him and his distance. At the moment, it didn't concern Peter all that much. What bothered him more was the mild tickling sensation in his brain. Like an itch that needed scratching. He moved a bit futher away, along the wall, until the feeling was subdued.
"If Gabriel told you to stay away, there was probably a good reason for it. There's a few agencies that should be avoided at all cost. We can help if you need to find work."
He wasn't quite ready yet to offer her a room here. Her intentions were still unclear, as well as her ability, and, most importantly, her feelings towards Gabriel.
