Whatever Ivy was doing, he knew that it wasn’t going to be… nice. Instead of approaching her as Venom, he did so as Eddie, all human looking eyes and a leather jacket instead of the sleek skin that was Venom’s attire. It took him coming into the park, only a centimeter, to sense Spider-Man, to smell him and know that he was the reason for her inviting him into her garden.
The anger began to wash over him, the rush of annoyance that was directed only at his green friend and her daring move. Who exactly did she think she was? Friend or not, she had no right to take his arch nemesis and tangle him up in her vines. It was a bad idea, a dangerous thing to do. If she thought that Venom and Eddie would be pleased with her, she was absolutely wrong about that.
“Am I going to have to bite you to get him out? Or can we do this the easy way, which would involve you backing down and letting him go?” Eddie folded his arms across his chest and faced her. He’d attack if she refused to comply to his wishes.
