She'd gotten him to chase, one point for her. When he walked inside she chuckled softly at his statement, perhaps a bit darkly. As she walked out of the shadows she smiled, her glacial blue eyes falling on him she let out a low purr.
"Oh you know me better than that, I think I'm offended." Selina moved smoothly with grace and confidence. "A thing? Really? As if you don't know me a bit more intimately than that."
She wasn't wearing her mask, the golden blond curls framing her face. As she got closer she looked at him, taking in the leaner frame and furrowed her brows. "You're not Bruce." This had been a complete and total waste of time. Just some kid playing dress up. "I don't have time for this."
Somewhere deep inside she was disappointed and maybe a little hurt since she'd gotten her hopes up. He wasn't coming after her, not that she expected him to to begin with. but in those few short moments she had allowed herself to hope.
