He pointed at her as she made exactly the point that he had been trying to convince himself of since he arrived and found out it all did exist. "That's what I've been thinking," he replied. "Somehow I think we've crossed dimensions or something, as Sci Fi-ish as it sounds because you think we would have known something was up before all this even."
Booth appreciated the sympathetic gesture though he hadn't meant to seem like he was fishing for one either. "Right now I'm thinking a suicidal tete a tete with the Powers That Be to demand why I'm here but I thought I'd hold out till I exhausted my other options." The corner of his mouth quirked up in a smirk.
"Briefed. It's definitely one of the more interesting ones." He leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest. "Not yet." His eyes lit up. "I met a pirate, Hart. A freaking pirate! But he wasn't one of those evil, kill 'em all pirates that pirates tend to be. He was actually very friendly." He grinned like a little boy who had just met his hero.
"And Wolverine!" That one came out a little more geeky than he meant, despite his earlier protests that he was not and never would be a geek. "But no actual vampires or demons. Yet."
