"Yeah, I'm kinda getting the vibe that all rules are out the window, here," Grace commented in agreement. "You'd think that if the supernatural was just a fact of life here, that law enforcement would be different in that it would get involved. Either way, you have people getting hurt."
Her expression actually softened in sympathy as Booth vented, not liking to see him this way. "Hey," she said, reaching out to awkwardly pat his hand before withdrawing. "We're gonna figure this out, alright? There's gotta be some way around this thing."
Between the two agents, it was just another case. Well, a very, very weird case that happened to be incredibly personal, but all of that aside, there was still a job to be done.
