Marking his place in the registry, he glanced up from his search to look at Caryn. Anyone else might have given her a slightly strange look, for asking what sort of place this was. Wasn't it obvious to someone who could sense vampires, after all?
Oz, however, took it in stride. He wasn't one to judge and, really, just because someone could tell a vampire was around didn't mean they could tell what that vampire's intentions were. Just that he wasn't as bad-feeling as others, as she'd said.
"It's a detective agency," he answered with a minuscule shrug. Looking back down at the registry, he paused for a moment then added, "Although we do surprisingly little detective work. Mostly we help people who need it."
Finding Sarah's name at long last (under "W" for witch as he'd figured he would), he added, "Room 30. Up the stairs, hang a left. Second to last on the right. Don't know if she's in, but that's where she hangs her hat."
With a close of the book, the werewolf eyed the witch for a second before adding, "Angel's the vampire. He has a soul. He's good people. If you want to stay, he probably won't mind." Not that Oz could speak on Angel's behalf or anything, but he'd yet to turn anyone else away. Somehow he doubted the first would be a witch with healing abilities and no fighting skills.
