Mary Jane thanked him for pulling her chair out for her, then watched with an affectionate gaze as he moved around the table and sat down, as well. It really did remind her of the last time they'd gone out to dinner, when Gwen appeared there at the same time and upset her enough to cause her to leave, but she knew the same thing wouldn't happen here. At least, she hoped. Gwen wasn't exactly a problem anymore, but she just hoped nothing else happened to disrupt their time together.
"The people there have been really nice so far," she said as the hostess provided them with menus and told them their server would be with them in a minute. "It's still a little weird when people tell me they know me from a comic book, though. And about us, too." She gave a light laugh at that, shaking her head. "But it's flattering in a way. Oh, and when I went out to the store earlier, I met a woman and her little girl who were both witches. That was interesting, too."
