Mary Jane followed Peter towards the restaurant as he lead her in it's direction. The smile she wore wouldn't leave her face, it seemed. For some couples, a dinner out wasn't such a big deal, but for the two of them? It was almost like taking a cruise. They didn't get to do things like that very often, no matter how casual or simple.
Upon entering the restaurant, which was small, quaint, and relatively quiet aside from light conversation both from the tables and behind the doors leading to the kitchen, and the smell of various Italian foods -- pasta, sauce, herbs, even pizza -- filled the air, as well as Mary Jane's nostrils.
"Oh, it smells so good in here," she said to Peter as a hostess approached them.
"Table for two?" she asked with a polite smile, pushing some blonde curls behind her ear. Mary Jane nodded, and they were led to a table near the back.
