As Faith glanced around warily, Angelus decided to make his presence known. Still hiding within the shadows, he slowly began clapping as he emerged into the streetlight overhead. He was smirking as he eyed her, although there was a predatorial gleam in his eyes.
"Impressive," he stated as he stopped clapping. "You sure showed him, huh?" A few steps closer, his walk more of a saunter than anything else, he added mildly, "Of course, he was only a few days old, so you might not want to brag too much about how easily you took him out. Makes you look a little... weak." With a wink, he leaned lightly against the side of the building and simply eyed her for a moment.
"So," Angelus spoke again once he'd looked her up and down one good time, "all of this, just for little old me? Careful, Faith. If I didn't know any better, I'd actually think you cared."
