He was still sitting infront of his computer when Clark arrived-that was ancient and full of dust but that was to be expected. After all the technology he was used to in his time 2025, the fact that the computer barely turned on didn't shock him. He grew up almost eighteen years into the future.
But his complaint wasn't with the technology. He could adjust, he could take it apart and rebuild. His complaint was the fact that his mind felt like it was splitting apart. He could her their thoughts, feel their emotions through the colors he saw that overwhelmed his senses.
"...Who's there?" Bridge pulled off a laser weapon from his belt, but when he heard Clark's name he lowered it instantly. He quickly scrambled up and got to the door. Yanking it open, he placed the weapon back on his belt. "You got here so fast." He wasn't in much better condition than he described. He was scared, exhausted and wasn't even sure he was ready to scan Clark like he normally would have scanned anybody he first met. If he did it inside the hotel who knew what would happen.
"You didn't even know who I was but you came anyway." He gave a shaky smile.
