Who: Jack Landors and Kira Ford
What: He made a mistake. Now he has to go fix it. He runs into vamps lurking outside her place as well.
When: Saturday evening
Where:Kira's apartment.
Warnings: No more than PG-13 I assume.
He took it on himself to get to Kira's apartment instead of the ultimatum. He didn't want the girl out on these streets after dark, and behind him the sun was setting. Hell he really didn't much want to be on these streets after dark himself. He was getting used to it. Jack was due for his evening run anyways and so he left the Hyperion and used his Delta Morpher as a G.P.S. system. It clicked when he got closer even an automated computer voice told him he was getting closer. That he needed to go straight one block, and left at the corner.
His red and black leather jacket was still a little dusty with both vampires and roof that fell ontop of him. He was relieved to be 0.5 seconds from his destination until what did he run into? More vampires. Jack bit the inside of his cheek and scowled. "This is getting old." He was always carrying his S.P.D. blaster on him now these days. Before he never used to even carry it on base. Now he had too, just to make absolutely certain the vamps would be dusted. Kira's apartment was to close for comfort. He didn't want to lead the vampires closer even if they couldn't go in, she could come out. It was bad enough he had to erase her memory he didn't want to bring her vampires as well.
He drew the weapon and fired at one who's back was turned looking in the direction of the complex. "Nothing to see there. Parties over here." His partner turned to face and lung at Jack, pinning him to the ground and fangs gnashed at his neck. The weapon fell from his hand. His eyes widened as he felt warm blood against his skin. "Nothing like a little instant sunlight to put things in perspective." He grinned reached for his blaster and pressed it point blank to the vampires chest and pulled the trigger. The blast of light that close was blinding and the vampire turned to dust. Jack lie there for a few moments in the street as if in shock. That vampire had come close to getting him. Too close. He was still bleeding-close.
Jack put his hand on the open wound and winced, making his way almost dizzily towards the address he'd locked into his morpher. He stopped finally infront of her apartment and rapped at the door. He was losing blood and it was wearing him down. He actually leaned against her door as he waited.
