Shaking her head she picked up the glass and sniffed at the strong smelling liquid inside. "Oh no. My pretentious upbringing wouldn't allow it." There was a smile on her lips as she looked at him over the rim of the glass.
The round glass was slid towards him, inside the dark red liquid sloshed against the sides. "We can trade."
Taking the glass to her cool pale lips she breathed in the new aroma before swallowing what remained in the glass. It was warm, even though it was cold. Strange. Her throat burned with the heat as it slid down her throat. Licking the amber colored liquid from her lips she set the empty glass down. "It is not without it's appeal." This time the smile was bigger. Possibly wide enough to see that behind her smile lay a dangerous secret. Waving the bartender over she ordered two fresh glasses of the whiskey he had been drinking.
