Who: Ginny Weasley and Open What: Heading home, random encounter? Where: Streets When: Evening, just after the sun sets Rating: TBD Status: In Progress
There were two brown paper bags tucked under her arm as she stepped out of the store. One contained food to make herself dinner that night, the other, some magical objects she had bought in a 'magic shop.' Most of the things in the store had been absolute rubbish, and some of the products were actually useful, for someone who knew how to use them. The girl behind the counter? Definitely didn't know how to use them.
Ginny was less than pleased to see that the sun had set during her time in the store, and while she could always just apparated home, she wanted to walk. Plus, wasn't she supposed to pretend that she didn't have magic, even in this city? Or that seemed to be some of the rules that people were following.
Sighing, she adjusted the bags in her arms and made sure she could easily grab her bag. Harry would probably murder her for walking around in the dark by herself. Though she was fairly convinced she could handle herself. But he'd been scarce lately, looking for some place for all of the 'Harry Potter people' to live. She didn't think that was going to happen. Maybe Ron would come, and Hermione now that she was here. Perhaps even Tonks, but that was it.
Tucking a strand of flaming red hair behind her ear, she set off down the darkening streets, trying to ignore any strange remarks she got from the local weirdos. The shop she had found wasn't exactly in the nicest area of the city.
