Oh, well that wasn't fair, his accent was far better than hers would be if she mirrored the cockney brogue right now and she'd had training. Sarah didn't lose her smile, though for a moment, it held a hint of a pout. It didn't last long, as she really was delighted with it just the same.
"This isn't the welcome committee everyone gets," she told him, tilting her head downward so she was looking at him from under her lashes. "In fact, I don't often make dates with perfect strangers, but I thought I'd take a chance on you. I have a feeling there's more to you than meets the eye."
