Katara wasn't sure how to explain the lack of need to name the waters. They were divided into the four territories, of course, but to name the water itself seemed a little... ridiculous to her. As long as you avoided the Fire Nation, you didn't tend to run into much trouble.
"I've never been to the Caribbean, no," she answered with a mild shake of her head. "I've never been anywhere in this world before, besides this city." Truth be told, she didn't have much urge to see any more of it than she already had, either. This place was strange enough as it was.
Studying him for a moment, Katara suddenly realized she didn't even know his name. Deciding that might help make conversation a little easier - or at least make it a bit less awkward, she questioned curiously, "Is there... something I can call you? I don't think 'hey, you' would be very polite." There was a hint of a smile at that, as she was starting to relax around him somewhat. He didn't seem that bad. Just a little different.
Which, she supposed, she must seem just as different to him.
