Gwen was still on the computer, having eaten half the free muffin and was still working on the coffee. She didn't really know what to make of what Daisy had said.
She was here before, but she didn't remember it. She didn't remember Daisy. She only ever left New York once to go to Europe after her and Peter split up. The more she thought about it the more she got a headache. But it bugged her. She knew Eddie, he could be self-centered at times and well, everybody lied. Could he really be as bad as Daisy was saying? Surely he wouldn't take advantage of her..
Leaning back in her chair she closed the windows on the screen and turned towards the door somewhat so she could see when Eddie arrived. As she waited she glanced down at her clothes; she couldn't even remember the last time she showered! Though she thought it had been this morning but the whole jumping through time and being on the West Coast baffled her beyond belief.
Atleast Peter was here. That meant things weren't too bad, right?
Gwen rubbed her temples a little, letting out a long sigh. She wanted to remember, but she just couldn't. Luckily she looked up at hearing the door open. "Eddie!" she said as she moved from her chair and went straight to him, throwing her arms around him and hugging tight. She couldn't help it, she was in a strange place and time and he was the only familiarity. Gwen couldn't of asked Pete to come, there'd been so many problems with MJ in the past that she didn't want to see that happen again. Even if Mary Jane wasn't here.
"Finally a face I recognize," she said quietly, letting go and taking a step back. Course she kept in mind what, her supposed best friend, had said.
