"Lindsey," the lawyer replied with a hint of annoyance in his tone. "In addition to offering legal services, we also invest in the other lesser known aspects such as magic, ritual, and scientific innovation that most of the world has yet to see."
He stopped suddenly and spun as Deadpool shrieked, glancing around the man to see the robot and its occupants. Maybe he'd done a little more damage to his labratory staff than he'd meant to after the truth serum incident.
Muttering under his breath, he turned back and pushed open the double doors -- and every lab rat within ten feet of the CEO suddenly had something important to be doing elsewhere. "Thomas!" Lindsey barked at the slowest one. "I need your technical assistance over here."
The man slowly returned, glancing between the two men nervously. "I'm William, sir," he said in a meek voice. Under Lindsey's dark look, he didn't push farther but returned to the desk he'd been working at. "What do you need assistance with?"
Lindsey pointed to Deadpool. "He...broke something and needs it fixed." He glanced back at Deadpool. "You can hand it over to him. He'll get the job done."
