Jasper could not agree more with the woman--Los Angeles was full of crazies. He too glanced at the men who were strung up to the street light, and a small laugh came out. No doubt they would have a hard time explaining the boxes of what looked to be electronics under them. When he looked back she had stepped away from him a bit, and perhaps it was the best, he didn't exactly have the best track record with avoiding temptation.
"Excuse me," he said, noticing that her eyes were now narrowed. If he was going to ask her about Bella, he should do it quickly, before she walked away. "I'm looking for someone, a young woman. She's got a talent for finding trouble, likely around your age with dark hair, and she goes by the name Bella. Have you seen her by any chance?"
