Mohinder thought it might be inappropriate for him to stay at the Hyperion after the incident when he first arrived, and he wasn't entirely convinced Peter would be very open to it. Still, it did sound much more appealing to be around a few familar people than staying in a motel forever. And he wouldn't be adverse to helping out. "I'm not so sure Peter would like that, I think everyone is angry at me for the way I treated you." Mohinder said.
"During the entire conversation, Sylar was trying to get to me, but even so, most of what he said was true." Mohinder said. That his father told him but not Mohinder about Shanti was one such example.
"Nevertheless, I'm not sure what's true and what's not, and maybe it's best not to speculate. I feel terrible for even considering that my father could have known," Mohinder said. Even so, it didn't make him stop questioning. "And, of course, Sylar always knows what to use against me, and I could just be doing exactly what he wants me to by entertaining that possibility. Right before I came here, it was Molly that he was using against me. He threatened her safety to force me into curing him from a virus that took away his abilities."
