Mohinder's hands were laced together, his head lightly resting on them, as he listened to Gabriel explain. He nodded every so often to indicate that he understand, and he found it rather interesting that Gabriel seemed to consider those powers as a seperate entity entirely. When he was done, Mohinder sat straight again.
"It's fascinating, really," He said. "And it helps me understand how Sylar works, at least somewhat. I've always wanted answers about all of this -- Sylar, my father...more about the powers...but I'm constantly pursuing something else, or at some sort of dead end." Mohinder was becoming grateful for Gabriel's presence, even. Gabriel wasn't exactly hard to be around, either. Part of him felt as if he should still hold him partially responsible, but the more logical side pushed that part away.
"What have you been using the powers for, actually?" He inquired. There were so many possibilities of what Gabriel could possibly do with them. And if he were able to get a better control on the power, what if it were to develop? The things Gabriel could do would be rather extraodinary.
And then it was back to Chandra.
"If my father had the opportunity to further his research, and imagine that he's getting quite far, but it would cost others to do so, do you think he would still continue?" Mohinder asked. He was genuinely curious about Gabriel's answer, and it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that he knew him better than Mohinder. He felt slightly ashamed for that. "Be honest."
