"No real logic that we can make hide nor hair of, sorry," Willow responded with a mild frown. "Which is pretty weird, because the cosmos usually have some kind of order to them to counteract the chaos. Only, in this case, it's all chaos with a sprinkle of craziness on top."
Her features softened a bit at the mention of his mother, although whether she was actually touched at the thought of someone's mother really caring where their child had gone (since her mother never really had) or the fact that his mother had been the one teaching him how to travel in such a manner, she wasn't sure. Either way, she couldn't seem to stop the slight, "Aww..." that passed her lips, which was almost immediately followed with a, "Well, maybe she'll show up here too? And it really may not have been your mess-up. Like I said, wonkiness abounds here. I mean, I can't even leave and that's saying something."
Her eyes widened a bit. "Not that I'm saying I should be able to leave... well, we all should be able to leave, but I mean I'm not that special or anything. I just know that normally when I teleport somewhere, I end up there. Only when I try to teleport out of here, I end up right back here. It can make for some mega frustrations which usually leads to a cranky Willow, so I just stopped trying after a while."
Exhaling slowly, glad she'd gotten through that while still making at least some sense, Willow stared at him for a heartbeat before asking, "So... can you do anything else, besides just teleport? Or is that kinda a big first step, where you're from?"
