"I'm from America, Earth. I'm perfectly human, if that is what you're worried about," Jonnard said as he pushed himself up into the chair and leaned back in it, a soft relief spreading over his face. "But I'm an east coaster so it makes sense that I didn't recognize the streets when I got here," He said, raising a hand to rake through his hand as he smiled mildly over at Willow. "Jonnard Albrite. You can call me Jon," He said before rubbing the back of his neck.
Los Angeles, huh? Well, that was certainly a new development. And it was a place that he'd never been before. Ignoring the ice cold crystal pressed against his chest almost directly over his heart, Jonnard bit the inside of his cheek. What did he do now? It wasn't like he could get home. Not in the state that he was in. And what exactly did she mean about not being too careful around here? He snorted slightly to himself. You could never be too careful anywhere.
And that was the problem with most people. They never were careful enough.
Turning his attention back up to her, Jonnard started slowly. He could feel that she had power, but she might have been one of the Hidden Ones. If that was the situation, he had to be careful how he approached this. "I don't know how I ended up here. This certainly wasn't what I was aiming for," He said. Vague. Vague is good.
