Lowest on the evolutionary chain. Scavengers. Incapable of even speaking. And Cordelia had thought Pylea was bad. The place Cornelius hailed from sounded like some version of Hell, in her opinion. Just, she was sure, as L.A. was likely feeling much the same way for him.
"Well, here that's clearly not the case," she remarked, surprised at how calm she was staying at all of this so far. Of course, he also hadn't insulted her personally. Simply made a very... scientific type statement about something that was as foreign to her as foreign could get. "Humans are at the top of the evolutionary ladder, here. Everything else is below us."
She glossed over the comment about tearing apart everything in their paths, since she still knew humans even here who did that. The rest though? Not even close. Not by a long shot.
"So how did you learn about the Hyperion?" she asked next, curiously. It was obvious being around humans wasn't something he was exactly comfortable with, so she couldn't picture him just walking up and asking a person where he could go for help. Nor could she imagine many people in this city offering to point him in this direction. More like scream and run the other way over a talking primate.
