"Sometimes," she murmured as she turned to one of the drawers and pulled out a fork, knife, and even a spoon just to be on the safe side, "my life is stranger than a freaking work of fiction." With a shake of her head and a smile, she handed over the silverware then nodded.
"Yeah, you're pretty much one of a kind around here, from what I can tell," she stated with a bit of a sympathetic smile. "And I'm guessing where you're from, humans aren't the dominant species, huh?"
