Cordelia was sitting on the couch, cleaning the weapons that resided in the weapons chest across the lobby, when the front door opened. Glancing up, she expected to see one of the team members. Or maybe even a client. Hell, at this rate, she was half-expecting an army of demons ready to rip them all limb from limb. Nothing, she figured, could surprise her.
Boy, had she sure been wrong.
"Uh..." The broad sword in her hands drooped a bit at the sight of the creature standing there. A monkey. It's a freaking full-grown ape-like-monkey-thing. What the hell? Forcing the confusion away, she arched a brow and eyed him closely. Then he spoke.
Cordelia blinked. Then blinked again. Then finally seemed to find her voice. "May I help you?" she questioned, perhaps a bit too archly given his obvious shock and the clear fear upon his features. But seriously. What was she supposed to do? Demons, she could handle. Vampires, ghosts, wizards, hell even a God or two. But this? This was out there, even for her.
