There was something in the way his gaze changed that made her nod slightly. Finally, someone who actually seemed to get where she was coming from on the whole killing people thing.
"No one ever really knows themselves let alone anyone else," she smirked sarcastically. "Something my prison shrink said once. And when you figure out what you actually want, if you could give me a heads up, that would be great. 'Cause I'd kinda like to know what I'm signing away my soul for."
When he kicked her, she actually staggered back some, letting go of his throat. The surprise made her laugh, impressed.
"Way to go Lindsey, never knew you had it in you Lawyer Boy."
She straightened up, a hungry, predatory smile on her face.
"What else you got?"
She shifted closer to him again, almost itching for a decent throw down.
"Hell, it was a long incarceration, and even Angelus and an Apocalypse hasn't quite gotten that outta my system yet. You really reckon you could take me?"
