Buffy pursed her lips a bit, thinking about her sister again. "Just a little over the boards. You're actually the first person I've seen, well...in person." That in itself made Buffy feel a little guilty all over again, not because she'd gone to see Spike, but because she should've addressed seeing Dawn prior to this. She would remedy that now, though. "I'll try to get her out of fang-and-claw mode."
The second kiss took Buffy by surprise, and she figured kissing Spike like that was going to be something to definitely get used to. That wasn't to say that she didn't like it, though, because it was something that she just so happened to enjoy very much.
"You've been keeping an eye on her," Buffy surmised, not really having to do much figuring once Spike revealed that he was in the same hall as Dawn. She gave him an appreciative smile. "Like always."
